The CAUTION series is a set of bookmarks themed around pausing.We borrow the language and forms of public warning systems, such as “in progress” and “not finished” signs, or cone markers— and move prompts originally used to mark temporary states, interrupt established actions, and deliver warnings quickly into the reading situation, where reading is usually private, often not sustained over long periods, and relatively slow.
You can place the bookmark between the pages to remind yourself, or stand it up to let others know—
reading is still in progress.
